For your family photoshoot session, I guide you through the process from start to finish. I help you with recommendations on what to wear, and I also help you with the selection of your family portrait images for your home. I have taken extra care to think of every little detail so that you are happy and get what you want from the session.
As a family photographer, I enjoy being a part of a family’s evolution and love seeing families return year over year. I watch as kids grow up in front of my camera, from newborn babies, to capturing amazing milestones like first Christmases or birthdays, capturing them at that moment in time so you have beautiful reminders of them for many years to come.
My welcoming family photography studio is a welcoming space for your whole family. I have a range of drinks and snacks to keep the hunger at bay. I also come equipped with props to keep the kids smiling and entertained throughout the family portrait session. Once your family portraits are taken, I then dedicate time with each child individually to capture their personalities.

Where do the family photoshoot sessions take place?Â
I can do your family photography session at a location of your choice. Many families choose to have their family photoshoots at my Dublin Family Photography Studio in Ashtown, Dublin 15. It is a clean and welcoming space, fully equipped with snacks and props for your family’s comfort. Otherwise, we can choose an alternative location such as your home or outdoors in a park or other location that is meaningful to your family
Can I include grandparents with in my family photoshoot?Â
Absolutely, of course! Grandparents are often key members of the family, Including grandparents in your family photoshoot is an incredibly special experience for everyone involved.Â
When should I schedule a Family photoshoot?
I would suggest scheduling your session is 4-6 weeks before you want the session to take place! My weekday and weekend Dublin family photography sessions fill up quickly and I only take on a limited amount of family shoots each month. You can book a family photo session with me from Monday through to Saturday.
How long will my family photoshoot Dublin session take?
Your session will take between 45 minutes to an hour. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable and the pace of our session will be determined by your family’s needs and the kidsÂ
What should we wear for our family photos?
Firstly, I would suggest wearing something comfortable that you can move freely in and something that you feel good in. I also recommend wearing soft toned, solid colours, avoiding loud prints and patterns so that we can keep the focus on everyone's faces. For a more modern look, you can go for black or denim too.
What happens during my session?
Before your session, we’ll discuss what kind of theme you want for your family photos. We will then start by taking family photographs with all family members (including furry friends if want to include them). Once the family shots are complete, I will focus on individual photographs of the kids, so we can capture their individual personalities.
